Austin Ridge Riders Advanced Group Rides
Monthly mountain bike rides on technical Austin-area trails — Goodwater Loop, Emma Long, Barton Creek, and Mount Lakeway — for intermediate to advanced riders.
The vibe
Technical terrain, serious shredders
Austin’s trail system is genuinely varied, and ARR’s advanced rides make a point of showing riders the more demanding end of it. Monthly Saturday rides rotate through locations that separate technical riders from casual trail users: Goodwater Loop on the north shore of Lake Georgetown, the rocky and rooty terrain at Emma Long, Barton Creek’s limestone creek crossings, and the climb-heavy trails at Mount Lakeway. Each venue has its own character.
The rides are designed for intermediate to advanced riders who are comfortable navigating technical features independently. The group format provides company and navigation, not instruction — this is a ride for people who already know how to mountain bike and want to do it with a solid crew on good trails.
Free to attend, RSVP encouraged through Ticket Tailor so organizers can manage group size. Check the ARR events calendar for current monthly dates. Show up with a well-maintained bike, appropriate gear, and fitness for the chosen trail.
