Austin Ridge Riders Trail Crew Workdays
Volunteer trail maintenance days with Austin Ridge Riders — dig, repair, and build singletrack at Walnut Creek, Brushy Creek, and more Austin-area parks.
The vibe
Give back, build the trails
The trails that Austin mountain bikers ride don’t maintain themselves. ARR’s Trail Crew Workdays are how the community gives back — organized volunteer days at Walnut Creek Metro Park, Brushy Creek, and other local parks where riders move brush, repair drainage, fix trail features, and do the unglamorous work that keeps singletrack rideable.
Showing up for a workday is also a good way to understand the trails from a different angle. You learn which sections are fragile, which features took real effort to build, and why certain trail etiquette matters. Most regulars say it changes how they ride.
Free to attend, registration through the ARR Trail Crew Ticket Tailor page. Dates are posted as they’re scheduled — check the ARR website and social channels. Tools are usually provided, but workdays typically ask participants to bring water, snacks, and appropriate clothing for outdoor labor.
