The pace is honest but manageable. Expect 15-16 mph on the flats and a supportive group that isn’t going to drop you on the first climb. Violet Crown has been building Austin’s road cycling community since 1981, and the Cruise reflects that ethos — get people on bikes, keep them comfortable, bring them back next week.
