The Bay Area E-Mountain Bike Club is built around one premise: e-bikes open up more trail, more often. Whether you’re using a motor to get to trails faster, extend your range, or ride terrain that would otherwise wreck your legs, this group meets you where you are. Rides hit challenging off-road terrain across the Bay Area — Marin, the East Bay hills, Peninsula open space — on both weekday and weekend schedules.
The format is social first. Part of the appeal is meeting riders who share the same enthusiasm for e-bikes and can exchange trail beta, bike recommendations, and local knowledge. The Bay Area has some of the country’s best mountain biking within striking distance of a major city, and e-bikes change the calculus on which trails are realistic for an after-work ride.
