BCC Annual Moab Trip
Boulder Cycling Club's annual Moab trip for mountain and gravel riding in Utah's red rock canyon country — multi-day club adventure on some of America's best trails.
The vibe
Red rock slickrock club pilgrimage
Moab is a pilgrimage destination for mountain bikers, and Boulder Cycling Club makes it an annual tradition. October 1-4, 2026 is this year’s trip — timed for fall riding conditions in the desert, when the temperatures have dropped from summer’s extremes and the red rock lighting is at its most dramatic. The Slickrock Trail, Porcupine Rim, Bar-M, and countless other routes all spread out from town.
The BCC trip brings the club’s community to one of America’s most iconic riding destinations. Members share shuttles, accommodations, and ride planning, which removes much of the logistical friction that comes with a Moab trip. Expect a mix of ability levels and route choices — Moab has enough variety to offer something meaningful to riders across the MTB experience spectrum.
Registration through Boulder Cycling Club at bouldercc.org. Moab in early October is popular; book accommodations early if you’re handling your own lodging, or check whether the club is coordinating group stays. A modern trail bike with good geometry is well suited to most Moab terrain; full suspension is a comfort on the more technical routes.
