Bike Happy Hour Portland
Portland's weekly cycling social hour — park your bike, grab a pint at a rotating brewery, and connect with the local bike community every Wednesday afternoon.
The vibe
Bikes, brews, and good people
Not every cycling event needs a route. Bike Happy Hour is a standing weekly gathering for Portland’s cycling community — show up, lock your bike, get a drink, and talk to people who care about bikes as much as you do. It’s been running long enough to feel like an institution, and it draws a genuine mix of commuters, racers, advocates, and people who just really like bikes.
The location rotates seasonally: Gorges Beer Co. on SE Ankeny in the warmer months, Migration Brewing on N Williams Avenue in winter. Both are bike-friendly spaces that know their Wednesday afternoon crowd well. Runs 3–6 PM, which means you can make it after a short day or as a deliberate mid-afternoon break.
Free entry, food and drinks at your own expense. No agenda, no group ride, no performance required. Just Portland’s bike people, gathered together on a Wednesday.
