BCC Tuesday Night Rides
Boulder Cycling Club's most popular weekly road ride. Groups roll from Twisted Pine Brewery every Tuesday at 5:30 PM, spring through fall.
The vibe
Boulder's Tuesday night institution
Tuesday nights at Twisted Pine are where Boulder Cycling Club comes together in full force. This is the club’s signature weekly ride — the one where all types show up, from seasoned racers to riders still figuring out their fitness. The group splits into A, B, and C packs by pace, with A riders pushing 18–20 mph through sustained efforts and climbs, B riders building skills at 16–18 mph with regular regroups, and C riders cruising 14–16 mph over 20–25 mile routes in a genuinely no-drop format.
Wheels roll at 5:30 PM sharp, so show up a few minutes early to find your group and hear the route briefing. The roads around Boulder lend themselves to fast riding — rolling terrain, clean pavement, and enough variation that the routes stay interesting even after a full season. First-timers on the faster groups should be comfortable in a pace line; the A and B rides move with purpose.
After the ride, Twisted Pine is the place to be. BCC members get 15% off food and drinks, which makes the post-ride debrief hard to skip. It’s a genuinely social scene — the kind of Tuesday evening that turns a solo sport into a community.
