BMBA Mountain Bike Skills Clinics
Boulder Mountain Bike Alliance seasonal skills clinics for all levels — from intermediate to advanced cornering and climbing at local trails.
The vibe
Level up on real terrain
Boulder Mountain Bike Alliance runs a full ladder of skills clinics each season, and they’re the real deal — not a marketing funnel in disguise. Intermediate riders get faster pacing and actual chunky features to practice on, while the advanced cornering and uphill/downhill clinics dig into the technical stuff most riders never get properly coached through. You leave with new muscle memory, not just new vocabulary.
The clinic roster covers the gaps that trail riding alone doesn’t fill: carrying speed through switchbacks, finding traction going uphill, reading terrain before committing. Coaches are trail-hardened Boulder locals who ride the same stuff you do. Group sizes are kept small enough that you actually get eyes on your form.
If you’ve been riding a while but keep hitting the same walls — the same sketchy corner, the same grunt-fest climb — one of these clinics will probably break that pattern. Check the BMBA calendar for current dates and open spots.
