Breakfast Club ATX Monthly Group Ride
Austin's biggest monthly group ride with 400–800 cyclists, police escort, four pace groups (A–D), free coffee, and a full post-ride party at Central Machine Works.
The vibe
America's biggest block party ride
When nearly 800 people show up to a monthly group ride, that’s not a group ride anymore — that’s a civic event. Breakfast Club ATX runs from March through December with free pre-ride coffee, a police escort, and four pace groups that cover the full ability range: Group A hammers 40 miles at 20+ mph; Group D rides the Southern Walnut Creek Trail at a pace where you can genuinely enjoy the scenery.
The post-ride situation at Central Machine Works is the thing that makes BOTF legendary. It’s a full party: food, drinks, live music some months, and hundreds of sweaty cyclists who just had the same good morning. The vibe is deliberately inclusive — WorldTour professional cyclists and people on flat pedals with a dog in a basket have both shown up and both belonged.
This is the Austin cycling event to put on your calendar if you’re only going to do one. March through December, monthly, starting at 8 AM from Central Machine Works on E Cesar Chavez. Free to ride, free coffee before, party after.
