The Three Floyds Brewery Series is Chicago Cycling Club’s twelve-stop pilgrimage — one ride per month, every month, all year long. The destination is always Three Floyds Brewpub in Munster, Indiana, reached via 45-70 miles of road depending on the season and route. Fourth Saturday, year after year. Complete all twelve and you earn the F-12 Award, which is the kind of goal that makes January rides feel meaningful.
The series has built-in highlights: Dark Lord Day in April, a Winter Solstice Finale in December, and an almost-century in September for those who need extra miles with their beer. Pace runs 14-20 mph, so this isn’t a casual cruise — you’re covering real distance before the reward. Metra return is an option for anyone whose legs or judgment suggest the train is the wiser choice.
CCC membership is required to participate. If you’re already a member and haven’t done the Brewery Series, start in any month — there’s always a next one coming on the fourth Saturday.
