Field Museum Celebration Station
Free Bike Month pop-up party on Chicago's Lakefront Trail at the Field Museum — grab swag, snacks, and connect with fellow cyclists on the lakeshore.
The vibe
Lakeside celebration vibes
The Lakefront Trail at the Field Museum is one of Chicago’s great cycling stretches — the museum campus on one side, Lake Michigan on the other, the city skyline cutting across the northern horizon. The Active Transportation Alliance’s Celebration Station pop-up stakes out this spot during Chicago Bike Month for a free afternoon gathering with swag, snacks, and the particular energy of a city that knows how to celebrate its lakefront.
It’s a drop-in format: ride by, stop for a few minutes or an hour, meet people who are also out celebrating the month on bikes. The lakefront location makes it naturally accessible to anyone riding the trail. Rain date is May 14 if weather doesn’t cooperate.
Free to attend. Part of Chicago Bike Month’s extended programming across the city. The kind of event that makes you feel good about being a cyclist in Chicago.
