Cycling4Fun Bay Area Saturday Rides
Social touring rides most Saturdays, January through September, across Bay Area routes from Crissy Field to Mt. Diablo — scenery-first, modest pace, great company.
The vibe
Fun rides, great scenery
The Bay Area has some of the most varied cycling terrain in North America — coastal roads through Half Moon Bay, the gentle valleys of Marin, the dramatic switchbacks up Mt. Diablo, the flat stretch along Crissy Field with the Golden Gate as backdrop. Cycling4Fun’s Saturday rides try to touch all of it, rotating through the region’s best routes from January through September.
The pace is social and modest, making these accessible to riders who want to explore the Bay without keeping up with a fast group. The emphasis is on the destination and the view rather than the interval. It’s a good fit for people who ride for the experience of being somewhere beautiful on a bike.
Free to join, check the Cycling4Fun Meetup page for current Saturday destinations. Routes and mileage vary significantly — read each event listing before committing to make sure the distance and terrain match your day.
