Christian Cycling Club — Denver Spoke
Faith-based Denver cycling community open to all — road, gravel, cyclocross, and mountain rides in the foothills. All levels welcome from beginners to competitive racers.
The vibe
Faith, fellowship, and front-range miles
The Denver Spoke meets every Saturday morning at Ken Caryl Park & Ride at 8:55 AM sharp — that five-minute buffer before the nine o’clock hour is very deliberate. From there the group heads into the foothills, with routes that rotate through classics like the Evergreen Loop, Conifer Loop, and Lookout Mountain. These are proper Colorado front-range rides with real climbing, so come with your legs ready. The group covers road, gravel, cyclocross, and mountain terrain depending on the week.
The club is faith-based in name and community spirit, but membership is open to everyone regardless of background. With around 36 active members, it’s small enough that you’ll actually get to know people rather than just drafting behind strangers. The pace spans from beginner-friendly to competitive-racer, so the group typically splits into ability-based subgroups to keep things comfortable across the board.
First-timers should check the Meetup page for the current week’s route and any notes about weather or alternate plans. Ken Caryl is well-positioned for getting into the hills quickly, and the Saturday morning slot puts you back home before noon if you’re not lingering over coffee at the turnaround.
