DBTC Spring Kickoff Event 2026
Denver Bicycle Touring Club's annual spring blowout: group rides from Englewood, a taco bar picnic, and a bike gear garage sale — all at Broken Tee Golf Course.
The vibe
Tacos, gear swap, fresh legs
Every spring, DBTC throws open the doors to one of Denver’s more laid-back cycling traditions: a morning of group rides followed by a taco bar picnic and a chaotic, beloved gear garage sale. The 2026 edition lands on May 2nd at the River Run Picnic Pavilion at Broken Tee Golf Course in Englewood — a flat, accessible spot that works well as a ride hub for the surrounding trail network.
Rides roll out between 9 and 10 AM with multiple options by pace and distance, so you’re not locked into one group. By noon the picnic kicks off with a taco bar and tossed salad ($20/person, register in advance — no checks, card only, deadline April 28). The garage sale runs noon to 2 PM: bring your spare parts, old kit, and unused accessories to sell, browse the free table for anything unclaimed, and offload whatever doesn’t move to Goodwill at the end of the day. It’s the kind of event where you might find a perfectly good saddle bag for $5 or finally unload those clipless pedals that never fit right.
This is a members-and-friends gathering at its core, but new riders are encouraged to come see what DBTC is about. Register through the DBTC website before the April 28 deadline.
