The Friday Cow Social is Holy Cow Racing’s weekly send-off for the work week — a casual group ride that starts and ends at Golden City Brewery in Golden. Wheels roll at 5:30 PM every Friday, and the whole point is exactly what it sounds like: bikes, people, and a cold one after.
The crowd is a cross-section of the Holy Cow universe — racers dialing back after a hard week, commuters who drove a little further west than usual, and regulars who’ve made this their Friday ritual. There’s no race-day energy here. Conversation is encouraged, and nobody’s getting dropped for taking it easy on the climbs out of Golden.
The post-ride setup sells itself. You finish, you’re already at the brewery. Golden City has the tap room going, and that’s really the whole plan.
