E Bike Riders 65 and Older
Denver-area e-bike group for riders 65+ with weekday midmorning rides on paved and gravel trails across the metro Front Range. Color-coded difficulty, private group.
The vibe
Easy miles, great people, e-assist
If you’re 65 or older (or just have weekday availability and appreciate a more relaxed pace), this group has figured out what a lot of cycling clubs haven’t: midmorning rides on weekdays are actually perfect. No rush hour, no weekend crowds, no pressure to keep up with the 30-year-olds. The e-assist levels the field in the best possible way.
Rides run Monday through Thursday and span paved and gravel trails throughout the Denver metro and Front Range, with occasional ventures into the mountains for the more adventurous. A color-coded system (Blue for easier, Green for moderate) means you can pick a route that matches your day. Multiple ride leaders keep things going, so there’s usually something on the calendar even if you miss one.
This is a private group on Meetup, so you’ll need to request to join. Routes range from gentle 8-mile loops to more substantial mountain rides for those who want to stretch their legs. The e-assist means the terrain is genuinely accessible — the goal here is the ride and the people, not the suffer score.
