Founded in 2018 by Tina Meinhardt, Girls, Gears and Beers is a Denver nonprofit built around getting more women and nonbinary riders onto dirt — and keeping them there. The club welcomes anyone who identifies as female (cis or trans), nonbinary, or genderqueer, and weekly rides hit trailheads like Green Mountain’s Rooney Rd lot along with other Front Range favorites.
Membership ($120/year or $10/month) unlocks weekly group rides, skills clinics, and discounts on coaching and Trestle Bike Park visits — built for riders who want to level up, not just show up. If you’re not ready to commit, the club runs an open social ride most last Thursdays of the month, no membership required.
It’s a low-pressure way to test the trails and the crew before you buy in — and a good bet if you’ve been riding alone and want company that knows the difference between a berm and a rock garden.
