It’s PBOT-organized and built for commuters from University Park and Cully who’d rather skip the detour entirely.
The route starts at Salmon Street Springs and rolls into downtown by 8:15, group-riding the kind of commute a lot of people would otherwise white-knuckle solo. It’s a low-key, practical ride — no costumes, no theme, just safety in numbers during a genuinely disruptive stretch of road construction.
