If the Medio is your warm-up and the Growler is bragging rights, the Gran is where most serious riders land: 113 miles and 10,000 feet of climbing, including the King Ridge Road that’s become synonymous with Levi’s GranFondo itself. It’s long enough to demand real training, hard enough to earn the finish-line beer.
The route threads through Sonoma’s back roads and vineyard country, with three aid stations plus two water stops keeping riders fed on the way. Expect two substantial climbs that separate the ride from a casual century — this isn’t flat wine-country cruising.
Windsor Town Green hosts the start and finish for every distance, so the post-ride scene is shared with the rest of the GranFondo field — food, drinks, and a lot of riders comparing climb times.
