The vibe

Rolling costume party for everyone

Longmont Bike Night has been bringing people together on Wednesday evenings since it became one of Colorado’s original weekly cruiser traditions. Every week from May through October, Roosevelt Park fills with costumed riders of every age and stripe, united by the urge to roll through town together at a pace where conversation is easy and nobody gets dropped. Themed costumes change weekly — follow the Facebook page to find out what this week calls for.

The crowd is the point here. You’ll find kids on tiny bikes alongside commuters, families, college students, and folks who maybe haven’t touched a bicycle in years until Longmont Bike Night gave them a reason. Bring whatever bike you’ve got, dress up if you feel it, and roll with thousands of neighbors through the bike paths of Longmont. It’s genuinely free, genuinely all-ages, and genuinely one of the best Wednesday evenings the Front Range offers.

Meet at Roosevelt Park at Longs Peak and Coffman, plan to roll at 6:30 PM. The route sticks to bike paths and flat terrain — this isn’t a workout ride, it’s a moveable block party. Bring good lights and better energy.
