Loud N Lit 2026
Portland's legendary slow bike party — over a decade running. Heavy on music and community energy. A Pedalpalooza fixture that starts at Irving Park and ends late.
The vibe
Portland's legendary slow bike party
Loud N Lit has been doing exactly what the name says for over a decade: rolling slow through Portland at night with music and lights and a crowd of people who showed up to have a genuinely good time. This isn’t a training ride. It isn’t a structured group experience. It’s a moving party with bikes, and the pace is deliberately slow enough that nobody misses anything.
The ride departs from Irving Park on NE Fremont at 9:30 PM on June 27 — Pedalpalooza prime time. Organized by Dutch and Sysfail, who’ve kept this tradition alive long enough that it now carries the weight of a ritual. The end spot involves staying out late, so clear the next morning if you plan to stay through to the finish.
Show up with a charged-up light setup, music if you’ve got a speaker, and the energy of someone who considers a Friday night bike party a worthy commitment. The city looks different from the saddle at 10 PM, and Loud N Lit has been proving that point for years.
