PDX Market Rides
All-ages, all-abilities Saturday group ride from Southeast Portland to the PSU Farmers' Market. Multiple starting points, fresh air, fresh produce, good company.
The vibe
Fresh air, fresh produce
Farmers’ market on a Saturday morning is good. Getting there by bike with a group of friendly strangers is better. The PDX Market Rides roll from Southeast Portland to the PSU Farmers’ Market every Saturday, with multiple starting points to accommodate different neighborhoods. The format is all-ages and all-abilities — this is a community ride, not a training ride.
A monthly bonus ride departs from Northwest Portland for those on the other side of the river. Either way, the destination is the same: Portland State’s Saturday market with its produce, prepared food, and the particular weekend energy that Portland does well.
Free and open to all. Check the Shift2Bikes weekly rides page for current start times and pickup points. Bring a bag if you plan to shop — the ride back with market goods is part of the experience.
