Electric Church E-Bike Ride
Weekly Sunday e-bike ride hosted by River City Bicycles exploring different Portland neighborhoods at a relaxed pace. 10–20 miles, all e-bikes welcome.
The vibe
Electric assist, real adventure
River City Bicycles runs this Sunday morning e-bike ride as a genuine community event, not a sales pitch. Riders gather at 9:15 AM at the shop on SE MLK for a 9:30 roll through a different Portland neighborhood each week — the North Portland waterfront one Sunday, East Tabor the next. Routes run 10–20 miles at a pace that lets you actually look around and enjoy the city rather than just survive it.
All e-bike types are welcome — cargo, commuter, mountain, whatever you’re riding. The group is open to riders at all fitness levels since the assist evens the playing field. It’s a good entry point if you’re newer to e-bikes and want company while you figure out the settings, or if you just want a no-pressure Sunday roll with other people who love the technology.
Check with River City Bicycles directly via their website or store for the current week’s route. The ride operates year-round, weather permitting, and has a Strava club for those who want to track their routes.
