Saturday Social
Portland Bicycling Club's weekly Saturday morning group ride. A no-pressure social pace through Portland-area roads — good for building base miles and community.
The vibe
No agenda, just miles
The Saturday Social is the Portland Bicycling Club’s weekly weekend staple — a 10am roll with a relaxed pace and rotating routes around the Portland metro. It’s not a training ride. There’s no pace board, no sprint points, no one getting dropped. The point is to get out on a Saturday morning with people who are happy to be on bikes.
Routes shift week to week depending on who’s leading and what’s in season — some weeks it’s a loop through the West Hills, others it follows the waterfront or heads out toward the Tualatin Valley. That variability keeps it interesting for regulars and accessible for newcomers who don’t yet know every road in the region.
Check the PBC scheduled rides calendar at portlandbicyclingclub.com to see who’s leading each week, where you’ll meet, and how far you’re likely to go. Rides are free and open to members and non-members alike, so it’s a low-friction way to show up and find your people.
