Ring of Fire MTB

Ring of Fire is one of the bigger cross-country mountain bike races on Oregon’s fall calendar, run by Mudslinger Events with the trail-focused course design they’re known for. Expect real singletrack, not fire-road spinning — technical sections that reward bike handling as much as raw fitness.

Fall timing means cooler temperatures and (depending on the year) tackier, grippier trail conditions than a midsummer race. Categories span from beginner XC to elite fields, so there’s a realistic entry point regardless of experience.
