RMCC Gravel Rides
Rocky Mountain Cycling Club's periodic gravel outings across Colorado's mixed-surface roads — raw terrain, scenic routes, and the club's adventurous spirit.
The vibe
Dirt roads, open skies
RMCC’s gravel rides don’t follow a fixed schedule — they appear throughout the season when conditions and routes align. That unpredictability is part of the appeal. Colorado’s Front Range has an enormous network of dirt and mixed-surface roads that most road cyclists never touch, and RMCC’s gravel outings are a good way to explore them with people who know where to go.
The club’s randonneuring background means gravel here often means real distance and real terrain, not a casual spin on a smooth gravel path. Routes are posted on the RMCC Meetup calendar as they’re scheduled, with location and distance details included.
Free with club membership. Keep an eye on the Meetup calendar and be ready to go when a good route appears. Gravel-appropriate tires (35mm+) are recommended for most routes.
