The vibe
Committed road warriors
Rocky Mountain Cycling Club is where Denver’s serious road cyclists find their people. Operating year-round across the Denver metro and Front Range, RMCC offers a ride calendar focused on challenging routes that make the most of Colorado’s mountain roads. If your idea of a great Saturday involves a few thousand feet of climbing and riders who can hold a paceline, this is your club.
The club’s rides tend to venture into the foothills and mountain roads more frequently than flatter metro-area clubs, taking advantage of the climbs that make Front Range cycling world-class. Expect routes that include Lookout Mountain, Deer Creek Canyon, Squaw Pass, and other iconic Colorado climbs. The membership includes a mix of racers, century riders, and fitness-focused cyclists who share a common appreciation for challenging terrain and structured group riding.
New members should be comfortable riding in a group and holding a steady pace on both flats and climbs. That said, the club typically offers rides at different levels, so you don’t need to be a Cat 1 racer to participate — just willing to work and improve. Membership provides access to the ride schedule, club events, and a network of experienced riders who can help you progress. Visit their website for membership details and the current ride calendar.
