The vibe

Seattle to Vancouver, party at the finish

RSVP stands for Ride from Seattle to Vancouver and Party, and that’s exactly what it is. 188 miles over two days: roughly 110 miles on day one from Seattle to Bellingham through western Washington farmland and Puget Sound scenery, then about 80 miles on day two from Bellingham into British Columbia, finishing in downtown Vancouver. The name promises a party at the end, and Cascade delivers.

The route through Washington is consistently beautiful — the stretch north of Seattle along the Sound is one of the better pieces of road cycling in the Pacific Northwest. Crossing the border into BC adds a genuine sense of international adventure that most cycling events can’t offer. Registration covers rest stops, ride support, mechanics, baggage service, a midpoint beverage, finish-line meal, and a souvenir.

Riders must present valid border-crossing documentation for Canada entry — plan ahead. Starting point is the UW E18 Parking Lot in Seattle at 6:30 AM. Registration through Cascade’s website.
