SBT GRVL — GRVL Femmes
An amateur women's team race within SBT GRVL — riders form teams of three or more, pick a course together, and combine scores in Steamboat Springs.
The vibe
Teamwork over solo glory
GRVL Femmes flips the usual gravel-race format on its head. Instead of chasing an individual result, teams of three or more amateur women riders pick one of SBT GRVL’s courses — Black, Blue, Red, or the more casual Green — and combine their top three finishing scores. It’s a program built in partnership with Zwift’s “Watch the Femmes” movement, and it puts collaboration ahead of solo glory.
Riders can start together or separately depending on pace, with staggered starts rolling out from downtown Steamboat between 6:30 and 7:35 AM. The team-scoring format changes the calculus of race day — encouraging riders to help teammates finish strong rather than racing everyone else on the course.
It shares its finish line and post-race scene with the rest of SBT GRVL weekend, so expect the same Steamboat Springs energy — just with a noticeably different vibe on course, built around teams cheering each other on instead of going it alone.
