Lake Chelan is one of those places where cycling and landscape conspire to make a weekend feel genuinely restorative. Cascade Bicycle Club’s three-day tour runs September 25–27 with daily routes of 37 to 56 miles looping through vineyards, apple orchards, and the surrounding canyon terrain that frames the lake from every angle. Elevation ranges from 2,800 to 5,000 feet per day, depending on how far out you push.
The tour is supported: lunches provided, SAG vehicles on course, and social events at local wineries woven into each evening. It’s the kind of structure that lets you be fully present on the bike without logistics anxiety — just show up with a packed bag, know your route options for the day, and let Chelan do the rest.
Limited to 200 riders. Members pay $255, non-members $330. Base camp is Don Morse Memorial Park in Chelan, putting you steps from the lake between stages. This is autumn cycling in the Pacific Northwest at its most compelling.
