Rapha Donut Ride
All-abilities Wednesday morning ride from the Golden Gate Bridge Plaza finishing at Dynamo Donuts. Welcoming to all levels — earn your breakfast, then eat it.
The vibe
Earn your donuts on two wheels
Wednesday mornings, Rapha San Francisco assembles at the Golden Gate Bridge Plaza for a ride that takes the multi-ability concept seriously. There are groups for different fitness levels, and the whole thing wraps up at Dynamo Donuts — which, if you’ve never been, justifies the 6:30 AM alarm on its own. It’s one of the friendlier entries in the Bay Area group ride calendar.
The Rapha Clubhouse is good at this kind of thing: organized without being rigid, welcoming without being condescending. Stronger riders can push the front group; newer riders can find a pace group that fits. Everyone ends up in the same place eating the same donuts, which levels things out nicely. The ride typically runs through the bridge corridor and into Marin before looping back.
For first-timers, connecting with Rapha SF ahead of the ride is worth it — their staff can point you toward the right pace group and answer any questions about the route. The clubhouse at 2198 Filbert is also a useful pre-ride gathering spot if you want to find the group before rolling down to the bridge.
