Westside happy hour with wheels after
For the cyclists who live and ride on Portland’s west side, Tanasbourne Bike Happy Hour is the summer gathering that doesn’t require crossing a bridge. The 1st, 3rd, and 5th Mondays of each month, June through August, bring the cycling community to Prime Tap House in Beaverton from 4:30 to 7 PM — a proper wind-down from the workday with good food and other people who think about bikes more than average.
The optional evening ride departs around 7 PM for a casual 10–20 mile cruise through North Washington County. This isn’t a group that’s trying to hold your hand or race your wheels off — it’s a social ride for people who want to see a bit of the area from the saddle after a beer and a meal. The route varies, always within the accessible west side terrain.
Show up for just the happy hour or stay for the ride — both are welcome. Prime Tap House has ample bike parking and a crew that’s used to seeing cyclists roll in. This is Ride Westside’s low-key, high-value contribution to the Portland cycling calendar.
