Billed as Utah’s largest gran fondo and now in its 15th year, the Utah-Cache Gran Fondo gives riders a genuine choice: a flat, scenic Cache Valley loop or a full century pushing into mountain terrain. All four distances — 35, 50, 75, and 100 miles — roll through farmland, historic small towns, and canyon roads with the Wasatch and Bear River ranges visible for most of the ride.
Support is real: roving radio crews, law enforcement, and mechanical support cover the whole course, which matters on a route this long through rural terrain. Downtown Logan shuts down a city block for the finish festival, so there’s a genuine event atmosphere waiting at the end.
Every finisher gets a medal, a gift, and a choice of lunch from local vendors — a good incentive to push through that last climb.
