Wednesday nights at Alpenrose split the week with a dose of pure speed. It’s the same banked oval, same no-brakes discipline as the Monday and Friday sessions, but the midweek slot tends to draw a slightly different mix — racers squeezing in extra track time between weekend road races.
If you’re new to the velodrome, this is as good a night as any to start. The format stays consistent week to week, so once you’ve got the racing rhythm down on one night, you’ll know what to expect on the others.
