Women & Nonbinary Bike SF Friday Morning Ride
Social, easy-paced Friday morning ride through Golden Gate Park for women, trans, and nonbinary cyclists in San Francisco. Slow enough to chat the whole way.
The vibe
Easygoing sunrise chat ride
Twice a month, this ride gathers at McLaren Lodge — the stone building marking the entrance to Golden Gate Park — for a loop that’s paced for conversation, not speed. Riders roll out at 7:30 AM and are back by 8:45, so it fits before work without much disruption to your morning.
The whole point is accessibility: this is a space for women, trans, and nonbinary cyclists to ride without worrying about getting dropped or being the slowest one in the group. If you’re newer to riding in the city or just want company for an easy morning loop through the park, this is a low-stakes way to start.
There’s no big post-ride scene, just a solid morning miles-in-before-work habit — and a standing invitation to bring a friend who’s been meaning to try group riding.
